I love this look for those days that you want your eyes to pop, but have to be out the door in a hurry. This is a super simple and complete purple smoky eye look (using ONLY 2 products) that looks especially beautiful on brown eyes. Here's how I do it...
Quick and Easy Purple Smoky Eye |
2 Products Required:
(any baked eye shadows will work for this look)
Laura Geller Shadow/Liner Duo
Sugar Plum/Plum Pudding |
light lavender shade/deep plum burgundy shade |
Laura Geller Eye Shadow in Bianco |
light champagne shade-BEAUTIFUL for highlighting |
The Tutorial...
I have already applied my foundation, concealer, powder, and eye shadow primer to my entire eye area. |
With a flat eye shadow brush, I tapped the light lavender shaded all over my eye lid and up to the crease. |
With a crease brush, I ran the deep plum/burgundy shade through my crease using "windshield wiper" motions. |
With the first flat eye shadow brush I used to apply the lavender shade, I gently tapped the brush over my entire eye lid and crease area. This will blend the entire look together. Be sure to tap over any harsh lines or edges. |
Using a damp eye liner brush, I used the deep plum shade as an eyeliner. I added a thick line to my upper lash line... |
and my lower lash line. |
I brushed the lavender shade on the inner corner of my lower lash line. |
I swept the Bianco shade under my brow bone... |
and to my inner corner for a little extra brightness. I curled my lashes and added two coats of mascara to my upper and lower lashes. |
The Finished Look...
